Nothing is better than a warm drink as the weather starts to get cold outside. One of my favorite holiday flavors is peppermint. When I was a kid, peppermint tea was the only tea I would drink. My mom would make me a cup in the kettle at night as things wound down… The taste still brings back good memories.
Today I’m sharing one of my favorite and easiest lattes that I make during my workweek. With only three ingredients, you can make this super frothy, holiday-inspired latte to make your work day a little better, too! The best part is that all it takes is a blender.
WHAT YOU NEED:
1 Peppermint tea bag
Enough almond milk (or any milk you prefer) to fill your mug
2 TBSP sweetener (I like Lakanto’s maple syrup flavored monkfruit syrup)
STEPS:
- Pour enough almond milk into your mug until it gets near the top
- Heat up this almond milk (I recommend over the stove) until it comes to a soft boil
- Put your tea bag into the hot milk and let it steep for 10-20 minutes (depending on how strong you want the peppermint flavor… you could also just use peppermint oil!)
- Put your sweetener into a blender and add the hot almond milk
- Blend until frothy – about 45 seconds
- Pour back into your mug and enjoy!
I hope that this holiday favorite of mine becomes one of your staples too! What holiday flavors are your personal favorites?
