When I graduated college with my degree in psychology, I had no idea how I was going to use my education or what to do with my life.

I only knew a few things: I knew I loved art, loved being creative, loved psychology, wanted to help people, and I knew how to take photos.

I took on a demanding job as a graphic designer and also began my full-time hustle of being a professional photographer (yes, at the same time.)

When my stress, anxiety, and confusion levels were off the charts, (which was basically every day) my creative outlets were always the thing that grounded me. I noticed that painting calmed my nerves, journaling helped me gain clarity, and expressing myself artistically cleared my mind like nothing else could.

Creativity was saving my mental health, but I wouldn't realize it until I watched a few of my co-workers spiral into a dark place that I wanted so desperately to help them out of.

I watched my close friends struggle with the same problems: disarrayed mental health, stress, anxiety, depression, lack of clarity, and sickness affected their life. Affected their spouse. Their kids.

I'm Shea Lung, creative wellness educator, artist, and photographer passionate about helping people design lives they love through creativity + wellness.

But they just kept hustling, saying they didn't have a choice– like so many of us do.

That's when it hit me.

Now I am on the journey of I utilizing the power of psychological theories alongside simple, artistic lifestyle concepts to help people gain clarity, peace, and purpose in their life.

Basically, I bridge the gap between hustle and health by showing people how to incorporate every day creativity into their lives in a way that clears the mental clutter, tackles overwhelm head on, and frees them to be their best self in life and business.

Through the years I have been an entrepreneur of many professions and passions– from photography to graphic design to an artist selling on Etsy. I have hosted multiple creative workshops in my hometown and though I pursue many passions, I am no longer the workaholic I once was.

Instead, I am able to do what I love, make enough to work from home with my husband, and still have margin to enjoy my life: gardening, traveling, my artistic hobbies, and resting. And I want to help YOU do the same!

I help people design lives and businesses that they love (and that actually work for them in a real, day-to-day kind of way) through coaching and consulting services, online resources + blogging, and professional imagery.

I realized that the passions that I had once thought were random and happenstance were actually an outlet through which I could help others design a life they love– a life of freedom from overwhelm.

By default, if we don’t decide for ourselves how we want our day to start, either our distractions or emotions will decide for us what the morning will bring.  You might be surprised just how simple my morning routine is, but it really works for me! Plus, I'll give you some tips on how to create your own.

Nailing down a morning routine

When you work from home, sometimes the morning can rush at you pretty quickly and you don't have time to whip up a healthy breakfast. The best way to combat this by preparing breakfast for the week on a Sunday so you always have something ready to go. Need an idea? Try out this recipe for fruity chia pudding!

My yearly planner was sitting at the back of my bookshelf, taunting me with little tinges of guilt. I purposefully left it sitting there unopened for months for one reason: I didn’t want to look at the list of goals I made for the new year– and realize how many of them I hadn’t met six months into the year...
